Fukuurabashi Bridge

Fri, January 20, 2017

This beautiful bridge connects the mainland to the Fukuurajima Island, one of the few islands in the spectacular natural reservation of Matsushima Bay which are fully opened for visitors. The Fukuurabashi bridge, a quarter kilometer long, was completely reconstructed after it was destroyed by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
