The Okayama castle was rebuilt out of concrete in 1966, and like many similar reconstruction projects, is housing inside a modern museum. However, its exterior is among the finest Japanese castles, with white walls partly covered by black lacquered wooden boards, and roofs adorned with golden shachi ornaments…
