Dogo Onsen shopping street

Wed, May 18, 2016

If you enjoy the Japanese shotengai (shopping arcades) you will surely be delighted by a trip to Matsuyama, where you can spend an entire day while window-shopping inside its extensive shopping arcades.

The first arcade, about half kilometer long, starts right next to the Matsuyama-shi Station, and is directly connected to a second arcade, about the same length. Photographed here is a third arcade, that connects the Dōgo Onsen train station to the famous Dōgo Onsen public bath.
