The beautiful and fascinating cone of Mount Fuji, covered by snow for several months per year, inspired a great many artists, from old-time poets and painters to modern photographers. Probably many millions of people have tried to capture its beauty in words, in paintings or with the lens…

Of course, I was drawn to Mount Fuji from my first visit to Japan, but it took me quite a while until I managed to take the photos I wanted. Here it is, in its simple but magnificent beauty…
