Inari Oasis

Inari Okami, the Japanese God of fertility, rice, agriculture, foxes, industry and success, is one of the main gods (kami) of the Shinto religion. According to a statistic, in Japan there are over 32000 shrines (with full-time priests) dedicated to Inari. Besides these, there are also countless of small Inari shrines built alongside roads, in private houses or offices, or inside Buddhist temples…

… like this small shrine, located in front of the Yurakucho Denki Building, a small oasis of green between skyscrapers:
