The Hakone Checkpoint Lookout

During the Edo period, the crossing of Lake Ashi by ship was forbidden. The best place to watch the lake was the Hakone checkpoint lookout (Tomibansho). Reconstructed, it can be visited and offers a nice view over the lake.

În perioada Edo traversarea lacului Ashi era interzisă. Cel mai bun loc pentru supravegherea lacului era din foişorul de la Hakone checkpoint (Tomibansho). Reconstruit, poate fi vizitat şi oferă o privelişte frumoasă asupra lacului.
