If you enjoy admiring the city at night (like I do…), and if you also love to take photos, I strongly recommend one of my favorite places: the Sunshine City Observatory. Because of the interior lighting and the shape of the windows, there are quite a few places from where you can take photos without any reflections on the windows. Plus that there is enough place to setup a small tripod (not a big one, though…).
That way, you can take long-exposure photos at your heart’s content, all that’s left is to experiment with the exposure time according to your preferences. I remember that when I was starting with photography, I always wanted to take photos with really long exposure, to have the image as bright as possible without burning it out. But after a short while, I learned that spectacular light and color effects can be obtained with shorter exposure times. I guess that, like in all things, in photography you shouldn’t overdo…
