The Toyosu area from Koto-ku, Tokyo, was created about 75 years ago on reclaimed land. Over the last years, Toyosu has become one of the most modern and quiet residential areas from Tokyo.
In this picture taken from Yurikamome, the arched roof is the Toyosu Station. The two white buildings in the middle are Toyosu Center Building (37 floors) and Toyosu Center Building Annex (33 floors), both office buildings, and in the back you can see one of the City Towers Toyosu - there are two twin buildings, the Twin North Tower and South Tower, both residential, buildings with 48 floors. On the right side, the tall building is also a residential skyscraper, the Toyosu Ciel Tower (with 40 floors).
Travel Tip: If you visit Toyosu, go visit Lalaport Toyosu, a modern mall built on the waterfront of Tokyo Bay. Why? Besides the restaurants and shops, Lalaport offers one of the most beautiful panoramas over the Tokyo Bay.
