A wonderful combination of nature beauty and man made artifacts, that how I would describe Yamadera, the mountain temple in the Yamagata Prefecture: lavish and wild greenery, rocks beautifully eroded by weather, and small shrines built on almost impossible to climb cliffs. Simply beautiful!
