One of the most beautiful places in Kyoto is Tatsumi Bashi, this small stone bridge crossing the Shirakawa canal. Looking at it from certain angles, you may have the impression that nothing change here for the last 150-200 years, because the surrounding building still look as they were during the Edo period, and the lighting, although it is electric now, is carefully crafted to preserve the traditional feeling… Simply beautiful!
