Nakasu is today the largest nightlife entertainment district in Western Japan, featuring more than 200 restaurants, bars, and clubs. By daytime, the area looks quite plain, but after the night falls, the traditional chochin lanterns and the bright billboards are lit and the streets are filled with passersby.
