Mitsubishi Navy Type 0 Carrier Fighter - Rei Shiki Kanjo Sentoki 「零式艦上戦闘機」, also known as Mitsubishi A6M Zero, is one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the World War II. The Type 0 designation comes from the Imperial year 2600 (1940) and in Japan was unofficially named Rei-sen or Zero-sen.
Overall, almost 11000 pieces were built, but today it is quit rare to see one, because just a few survived the war and are on display.
One of them, fully restored, is located at the Yushukan museum at the Yasukuni Shrine:
