The love of the Japanese people for Fuji-san (富士山) remained unchanged for the entire history. From the earliest ukiyo-e woodblock prints to the today’s photos, Mount Fuji is the most drawn, painted and photographed place in Japan.
Its perfect cone, covered by snow for several months a year, is a universally recognized symbol, and it is probably the most representative image of Japan.
