Somehow similar to the Chinatowns, in Japan there are also several Little Korea neighborhoods, small shopping areas with shops selling traditional Korean merchandise and restaurants offering authentic Korean foods.
I discovered one of them in Shimonoseki, close to the JR station. Called the Green Mall shopping street, it one of the city’s attractions and it is is nicely marked by a gate built in the traditional Korean style.
