Amanohashidate Hiryukan view

Mon, October 8, 2018

The strip of land crossing the Miyazu Bay, a natural bridge with a width varying between 20 and 170 meters, is renowned as one of the “Three Views of Japan” (Nihon Sankei). Due to its amazing beauty it received many names, depending on the viewpoint. The view in this photo taken from Mount Moju is called Hiryu-kan, meaning “the flying dragon view".
