Glimpse of Mount Fuji over the Shizuoka hills

Sun, November 16, 2014

If you travel by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka, if the weather is right, on the right side of the train, right before the Shizuoka Station, you may have a chance to admire Mount Fuji.

It doesn’t appear suddenly, the top of the cone will first rise over the hills as in today’s photo, a view that I enjoyed a lot. Then, while the train speeds towards Shizuoka, you will get to see Mount Fuji in all its splendor.
