Honmaru Palace of the Nagoya castle

Tue, May 8, 2018

Reconstructed by using original techniques from the Edo period and traditional materials, the Honmaru Palace of the Nagoya castle is about to be finalized this year, after a work that took 9 years.

The palace is an astonishing construction covering about 3,100 square meters, with amazing interiors reproducing the luxurious original palace. It is the most important reconstruction of a Japanese palace.
