Atsuta Jingu

Tue, May 3, 2016, by Muza-chan

Established 1900 years ago, the Atsuta Jingu in Nagoya is the second most important shrine in Japan, after the Ise Jingu.

Similar to Ise Jingu, which preserves the mirror Yata-no-Kagami, one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan, Atsuta Jingu also preserves a sacred treasure, the sword Kusanagi-no-tsurugi.
