Beautiful street in Kurashiki

Tue, September 12, 2017, by Muza-chan

Kurashiki, a prosperous merchants town during the Edo period, remained prosperous until today, being an important tourist attraction. The old kura storehouses, well preserved, are now listed as Groups of Traditional Buildings (Dentōteki Kenzōbutsu-gun), housing small museums, restaurants, coffeehouses, and shops selling local products.
