Cute Japanese roadside barriers, giraffes

Sun, August 2, 2015, by Muza-chan

The Japanese manhole covers aren’t the only cutely decorated public utility items. Nine years ago, the Sendai-based company Sendaimeiban, in collaboration to the Asahiyama Zoo of Hokkaido, created a set of unusual roadside barriers, shaped as funny and cute animals.

It seems to me that the first model was a monkey, but the series was expanded, and among them are also these amusing giraffes (the almost crossed eyes are so cute), photographed in Hakodate.
