Eikando Tahoto autumn illumination

The two-storied pagoda (tahoto) is the newest structure of the Eikando temple in Kyoto. Erected 90 years ago on a small hill, the red tahoto became the symbol of the temple. Here it is photogrpahed in the autumn illumination, perfectly harmonized with the surrounding red maple trees…
