Futara Reisen, the Futara Spiritual Spring

Fri, June 16, 2017, by Muza-chan

Like many other countries, Japan has its own legends about healing waters. About the spring in this photo, located nearby the Futarasan Shrine in Nikko, it is said that it has healing properties for eyes. The water comes from the nearby mountain, perfectly clean, and it is used for tea and I also heard that it makes a great sake.
