Himeji castle view from the Hishi gate

Fri, October 11, 2019, by Muza-chan

The distance from the Hishi gate to the main tower of the Himeji castle is 145 meters, and the tenshu is visible as in this photo. However, to reach the castle you will need to go a much longer distance, on narrow and sinuous alleys, made to keep eventual attackers away from the tower as long as possible.
