Hiroshima A-bomb Dome

Tue, August 6, 2019, by Muza-chan

Originally built to promote industrial production, the Hiroshima Prefectural Commercial Exhibition was, 74 years ago, a landmark of the city. After it was destroyed by the atomic bomb, was named Genbaku Dōmu 「原爆ドーム」, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and was preserved as a memorial for the people who died then and as a symbol of hope that such a tragedy will never happen again.
