When I first heard the name Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers, I imagined a complex of at least two buildings or a single building with multiple towers, like Tochō. But this splendid skyscraper from Nagoya is neither of these cases: it’s a single building… or so it looks from ground level. Because the choice of name isn’t wrong, it is a whole different concept: Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers is a construction made from three “towers” - also called wings - of different sizes, twisted like a spiral around a cylindrical core. Since the building is the seat of three schools, its shape was designed to symbolize the enthusiasm of its students, rising up to the sky…
