One of the few places in Japan that had the honor of accommodating the Emperor, the residence of the Mori family in Chōfu, Shimonoseki is an amazing example of Japanese simplicity and elegance.
112 years ago, the Emperor Meiji visited the area while inspecting the troops stationed in Kumamoto and was accommodated in this house. And even if more than a century has passed, the rooms were the Emperor stayed were preserved unchanged…
