Japanese architecture, the Water Spaceship

One of the most spectacular buildings from Japan, Oasis 21, is located in Nagoya, in the Sakae district, right near the Nagoya Tower. Surprisingly for a building with such a modern architecture, Oasis 21 serves mainly as a… bus terminal, but there are also many restaurants and stores, located underground.

The most striking feature of Oasis 21 is its oval glass roof, filled with water, which can be visited (the view from up there is really nice) and acts as a huge cooler. And since it looks so cool, it also has an appropriate name: the Water Spaceship…
