Established in 1880, the Kiyosumi Teien Garden belonged to Iwasaki Yataro, the founder of Mitsubishi and was initially used for for employees’ relaxation and for business guests.
Opened to the public in 1932, it is now one of the most beautiful strolling-style Japanese gardens in Tokyo.
It’s a great place for bird watching and for those who like koi (Japanese Carp) or turtles.
