Old Japanese Coffee Shop in Yanaka

There are few neighborhoods in Tokyo with really old buildings that survived both the Great Kanto Earthquake (in 1923) and the bombings of the WWII. One of them is the Yanaka neighborhood, located in Taito-ku, on the hill between Ueno and Nippori Station.
A part of the old shitamachi [下町 “low city"] atmosphere still lingers in Yanaka and a stroll through the narrow streets feels like a little time travel. There are many temples, a few museums (like the Old Yoshida Sake Store) and many old houses like this one (which is currently a coffee shop):
