Japanese modern architecture, Canal City Hakata Sun Plaza Stage

As I wrote before about the Canal City Hakata, I love its architecture inspired by nature, with a group of buildings built on the “shores” of the “canal", inspiring a canyon…

The main attractions are five larger open areas, and the most spectacular of them is the one photographed here, the Sun Plaza Stage. There really is a stage there (and music shows are often performed on it), placed in front of a giant hemispherical dome that mimics the lodges of a theater…
