Jidaigeki period drama movie set

Tue, February 10, 2015, by Muza-chan

If you like the Japanese jidaigeki period dramas (as I do), you will surely enjoy a visit to Toei Kyoto Studio Park (Toei Uzumasa Eigamura). Maybe you’ll recognize some movie sets, like the one photographed here, used to film one of the longest-running jidaigeki series, “Abarenbo Shogun“. The show was about Tokugawa Yoshimune, the eighth Tokugawa shogun, and the Edo firemen teams that were established during his rule.
