JR Shikoku Anpanman Train interior

Sun, February 5, 2017, by Muza-chan

To celebrate the popular manga Anpanman, whose author, Yanase Takashi, is originally from Kochi, the railway company JR Shikoku runs the Anpanman character train.

There are 4 lines on which you can travel with an Anpanaman train, but only two of them have daily services, Okayama - Matsuyama and Matsuyama - Takamatsu. Another service with these cutely decorated train is between Okayama and Kōchi. Besides the interior of the cars, you can have special themed ekiben meals, and some of the announcements are made with the voice of Anpanman…

Travel tip: If you visit Shikoku and want to travel with an Anpanman train, be sure to take a look at the JR Shikoku website.
