Kagurazaka Awa Odori Dancers

Sat, July 24, 2010, by Muza-chan

Awa Odori is a dance festival originating in Tokushima (Awa being an old name for Tokushima). The festival is a wonderful explosion of joy and exuberance and it will definitely go into my list of Must See Japanese Scenes.
The Kagurazaka Awa Odori started yesterday in the Kagurazaka neighborhood and it will continue today, so if you’re in Tokyo, it is really worth to go see it!
