Merry Christmas! Kyoto Station Christmas Tree

Sat, December 24, 2016, by Muza-chan

Nine years ago, at the Kyoto Station building began a new tradition: every year, the theme of the Christmas tree is inspired by one of the 9 cities with which Kyoto is in a sister city alliance.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Kyoto and Prague sister city partnership, thus the giant 22 meters tall Christmas tree at the 4th Floor Muromachi Koji Square is decorated with motifs inspired by the streets of Prague.

Merry Christmas!
