Minato Mirai 21, Port of the Future in the 21st century

Tue, April 28, 2015, by Muza-chan

Even after more than three decades since development begun, the Yokohama Minato Mirai 21 remains one of the most modern and beautifully designed areas in Japan.

The project was initiated half a century ago, and the actual construction started in 1983, so the buildings composing the Minato Mirai 21 skyline are quite old by today’s standards. However, the area is still living up to its name: Minato Mirai 21 means “Port of the Future the 21st century".
