Perfect view of Mount Fuji from Chuo line

One of the advantages of traveling by train in Japan is that sometimes you can be delighted by amazingly beautiful views. On the Chūō line, around Hachiōji, if the weather is good and the air is dry (most probably during winter), you can enjoy perfect views of Mount Fuji. You will see it on the left side of the train when coming from Tokyo - it should start appearing after Mitaka and can be seen from many angles until Isawa-onsen Station.

A few days ago, when I visited Matsumoto, I was lucky to enjoy such a view. Here it is, a perfectly clear view over the typical Japanese rooftops…
