One of the two original buildings in the Aizu Bukeyashiki complex, named Nakahata Jinya (in today’s photo) originally belonged to a judge named Gunjiro Matsudaira, a direct retainer of the Shogun.
Built 160 years ago, it was moved here from the Nakahata village, and was designated as an important piece of cultural property.
