Reflections, photo 20 - Akiba Shrine

Today, I would like to show you an image a little different from the modern looking views included until now in this category, a photo snapped at a shrine I accidentally discovered in Asakusa, the Akiba Shrine (… not related to Akihabara :)).

It’s a beautiful place and I will get back soon with a full photo article, but for now, here’s the “reflection":

I learned that at this shrine takes place a ceremony called Hiwatari, barefoot walking over burning charcoal fire. I would sure love to see this…

Astăzi aş dori să vă arăt o imagine puţin diferită de cele incluse până acum în această categorie, o fotografie pe care am făcut-o la un altar pe care l-am descoperit întâmplător în Asakusa, Akiba Shrine (… fără nicio legătură cu Akihabara :)).

Voi reveni curând cu un articol foto de la acest altar, deocamdată iată doar această “reflexie":

Am aflat că la acest altar are loc o ceremonie care se numeşte Hiwatari: mersul cu picioarele goale pe cărbuni aprinşi. Mi-ar plăcea să am ocazia să văd aşa ceva.
