Sendai Mediatheque in autumn night

Designed by a well known Japanese architect, Toyo Ito, the Sendai Mediatheque building is to be admired especialy by nightime. Winner of the prize “World Architecture Awards 2002 Best Building in East Asia”, the Mediatheque is a huge transparent cube illuminating the street with a warm light, harmonizing in autumn with the golden zelkova trees.
