Shining on the shores of the Kyoko-chi pond, the golden leaf plated pavilion Kinkaku-ji is certainly one of the best scenic spots in Kyoto. The building beautifully reflected in water, the various islands and the carefully selected rocks are creating a truly spectacular landscape. Simply beautiful!
