Steampunk decor in Inuyama

Some great steampunk movies were produced in Japan, Hayao Miyazaki’s “Howl’s Moving Castle” being one of the most representative, so the steampunk genre is really popular in Japan. Many steampunk works are decorating the Japanese cities, with the masterpiece being the Nippon Television’s NI-TELE Really BIG Clock from Shiodome, Tokyo.

And since it is so popular, if you like steampunk you can have many pleasant surprises while traveling through Japan: a couple of weeks ago, while visiting Inuyama, the town with the famous Inuyama castle, I discovered, in front of a simple beauty shop, this striking steampunk insect…
