An old Japanese popular belief says that some of the old, large and intelligent cats can transform into an youkai called nekomata. Nekomata are human-sized youkai with 2 tails, wearing clothes and speaking like humans, looking like this cute nekomata sitting on one of the youkai benches of Fukusaki, Hyogo Prefecture.
