Japanese Architecture, Nittele Tower

Fri, March 22, 2013, by Muza-chan

From all the modern areas from Tokyo, my favorite remains the complex of skyscrapers from Shiodome. Seen from a distance, Shiodome seems crowded, with many skyscrapers built on a relatively small area. But that’s exactly what I like about this place… all these towers look great admired from below, from different passageways…

The Nippon Television Tower ("Nittele Tower") looks like a cold glass and steel colossus, but to my surprise, the base of the tower is covered with a combination of red and brown plaques and, because of that, the surrounding square looks warm and pleasant.
A good place to enjoy a coffee and, if you’re a fan, for a visit to the Anpanman Terrace. (^_^)
