Jibutsudo at Okochi Mountain Villa

Thu, May 16, 2019, by Muza-chan

Designed and built over a period of 30 years by the actor Ōkōchi Denjirō, this garden and house at the foot of Mount Ogura in Arashiyama, Kyoto, is one of the most interesting attractions of the area.

The building photographed here, Jibutsudō, is a Budddhist temple built during the Meiji Era and later moved inside the garden.
