Osaka Bay, spectacular bird's-eye night view

Wed, August 29, 2012, by Muza-chan

One of the most beautiful views over the Osaka Bay can be seen from the complex of high-rises located in the Benten area, X-Tower and ORC 200.
On a clear day, you can see as far as Kobe (the dim lights on the upper right corner of the photo), in the upper center of the view you can see the Tempozan Ferris Wheel and the Tempozan Bridge and to the left, the tallest building visible is the Osaka Cosmo Tower, the third tallest building in Japan.

I especially like to take night photos with a long exposure - the lights of the Hanshin Expressway adding dynamics to this spectacular view. The reddish tint is caused by the new low-energy lights used for street lighting throughout the city.
