Pirate ship on Lake Ashinoko

Sun, August 26, 2018, by Muza-chan

Created by a volcanic eruption 800 years ago, the lake at the foot of Mount Hakone, Ashinoko (or Ashi) is one of the tourist attractions of the Hakone area.

There are 3 “pirate” ships modeled after famous medieval warships, offering tours with beautiful views of the Hakone shrine torii and of Mount Fuji (partly hidden by clouds in today’s photo)
